KASTL is a multi-disciplinary graphic design studio in Brooklyn, NY.

In addition to running her own studio since 2002, Francesca Richer served as design director at the Aperture Foundation, and as art director at powerHouse Books, Interview magazine, and Tricycle: The Buddhist Review. She has designed more than fifty photography and art books.

Astrid Lewis has more than fifteen years of experience in publication design, music packaging, branding, and marketing collateral. For seven years, she was design director to award-winning musician and producer Dan Zanes, serving as visual caretaker of his beloved family brand. She also teaches Process & Skills at Parsons School of Design, and Typography at NYU.
